What to tell about this? I think we had to record this even
before 8 years. Most likely we would be farther in the death metal
hierarchy. We used all our experiences and musical skills. Among 9
new songs there are also 3 compositions which are more into melodies
than into fastness or brutality. Maybe you will agree that my vocals
are better as well. Lyrics are the best we ever used. My friend from
USA Peter Hasselbrack / Bloodsoaked promotion helped me with them a
lot. They are practically into a specific concept while dealing only
about transgression, blasphemy and christian morality rotted to the
core. We could finally move higher due the support from our new
label Osmose productions. Of course, you must also support us to get
it! |

It looks like the new line-up changes contributed to
improvement of our production most of all. This time we finally had
a drummer who will be able to play as fast as we want. We really
reached the line of fastness which we will not probably cross any
more. It is some limit which foregoes to absolute extremity. Maybe
this resulted to signing the contract to a foreign label with good
position at the scene. It is the best what we could offer at that
time. Heavy sound, massive vocals and really fast death metal. |

New line-up again. Horrible.... First time I took the
microphone on this record. I think, you can hear we continued to
improve our musical progress but the tempos which are slower than we
wanted decrease the worth of the material little bit. The sound is
better than ever before and I think it is also result of studio
change. There are (as ISP good entitled it) 8 ways to Kill
Jesus Christ plus one cover song. I think we can sort this material
to brutal death metal. |

In spite of serious problems with the line-up we managed to
enter the studio just one year after the previous release. The new
drummer Thorn contributed to increase our devastating power.
He was more talented like the previous one who rejected to play.
After the 2nd demo we felt together with Roman Lukác that we
could create more complicated production. I think the difference is
obvious. Guitar themes are worked out with more detailed form.
Despite the sound is quite thrashy it is possible to hear our new
influences by bands like Carcass or Cannibal Corpse.
The text concept it the same in general but we included several
different themes as well. |

The material for this demo was prepared very fast. Of course,
it consists of only 6 songs. We decided to use just this number of
songs since it is quite enough for a demo tape. These 6 songs have
been already prepared in 1992 when we recorded the version with
Slovak vocals. In 1993 we re-sang it into English language. We
spread only this version. It was first time when the new vocalist Zino
appeared in Dementor line up. This singer brought a new
dimension of brutality into Dementor. Along with his deadly
roar our music moved more to easiness and intensity as well. The
result was a mixture of really brutal death metal. If the lyrics on The
extinction of christianity were full of hatred towards the false
christianity, thus here the hate was right overflowing. We also
improved sound little bit. We recorded on the same 4-track equipment
however our experiences helped us to get a progress. |

This demotape represents 4 years long effort of Dementor to
reach an official record which would reflect the real face of the
band. Totally inexperienced we entered the Exponent studio which was
equipped only with 4 track recorder. It was very hard to create any
sufficiently good sound however we were quite good prepared and got
practically impossible. The result is pretty good. We were very
proud to present Dementor through this record considering that many
bands had very bad records at the same time. As you can see there
are 9 songs of faster death metal which are influenced by early
Death, Pestilence, Venom, Morgoth, Celtic Frost and Slayer. This
music is fulfilled with anti-christian lyrics, full of hate. |
